Established in 1913, Karim's has been a cornerstone of Mughal cuisine, tantalizing taste buds with its rich and authentic flavors. Known for our exotic spices and herbs, we bring the true essence of Mughlai food to your table.

A Heritage of Royal Cuisine

Cooking royal food has been the hereditary profession of Karim's since the era of Babur. Our legacy began in 1911 when Haji Karimuddin, our visionary founder, moved to Delhi for the Delhi Durbar held for the coronation of King George V. With an innovative idea to cater to the masses arriving from all over India, Haji Karimuddin opened a humble Dhaba, offering just two dishes: Alu Gosht and Daal, served with Rumali Roti. This marked the beginning of Karim's journey in bringing Mughal delicacies to the people.

A Legacy Continued

Today, Karim's is run by the fourth generation of the family, with our renowned restaurants, including the esteemed Dastar Khwan-E-Karim at Jama Masjid and Nizamuddin West, New Delhi. Our commitment to preserving the authentic taste of Mughal cuisine has earned us numerous accolades, including Dilli ka Khana No. 1, FOODMAD, Best Food City, Best North Indian Restaurant, and the prestigious Times Food Awards.
